One of the best parts of being a Booger is the incredible lineup of spring training camps that bring riders together from across the West Coast. These camps are all about riding hard, pushing limits, and making friendships that last a lifetime.

This spring was packed with Gravel, Enduro, and our world-famous California camps. We kicked things off in March with a week-long camp in beautiful Santa Rosa, California. Over twenty three Boogers tackled big miles—including a 100-mile road day for some. Along the way, we squeezed in mini golf, mountain biking, plenty of great food, and lots of fun. This is our toughest spring camp, and our riders came out of it stronger, both individually and as a team.

Gravel Camp followed with three days of riding in the Tri-Cities area of Washington. For more than 20 Boogers, it was all about pushing limits and building endurance. This camp is a fantastic stepping stone for younger Boogers to gain experience riding longer distances and working together in a group.

Our Enduro Camp in Bellingham has become a fan favorite, with 30 kids attending this year. It’s an awesome opportunity to sharpen skills and connect with Boogers from all over the region. Enduro riders love the challenge of hitting the big lines, while cross-country racers benefit from learning new techniques that translate to better speed and control on race day. And of course, no Enduro Camp is complete without bowling night—where we’re reminded that our trail skills are definitely better than our bowling! |
WSCL Varsity Women Battle All Season Long! |

The Washington Cycling League season has been nothing short of electric this year—a whirlwind of high-energy races, breakthrough performances, and unforgettable moments. And right in the heart of it all? Our Booger athletes, showing up strong and representing with pride, determination, and serious grit. We’ve seen an incredible number of Boogers out on course this season, competing with their league teams across all categories. The community, camaraderie, and competitive spirit have made this one of the most thrilling seasons in recent memory. But if there’s one division that’s captured everyone’s attention, it’s the Varsity Women’s category, where both returning veterans and rising stars from the Booger squad have been absolutely dominating the field. Booger teammates and close friends—Ellen Sproule, Charlee Albright, Vermont Berk, Frances Amenda, Audrey Slatta, and Laura Pollard—have been putting on a show all season long. While they train together and cheer each other on, when the whistle blows, they turn into fierce competitors, pushing each other to new limits. The season opener in Steilacoom saw Ellen Sproule surge ahead to claim the top podium spot. The second race in Cle Elum delivered an epic head-to-head battle between Ellen and Charlee Albright, both digging deep with Ellen narrowly holding on for the win. The third race brought another twist—after a crash-filled day for Ellen, Charlee took full advantage and powered through for the victory. This past weekend’s race was nothing short of legendary. Ellen and Charlee went bar-to-bar in a dramatic sprint finish that ended with Charlee taking the win—by a tire width. It was a photo finish that had spectators on their feet and solidified the rivalry as one of the most compelling storylines of the season. Now, with State Championships just 10 days away, anticipation is sky-high. With so much talent and determination in this Booger crew, it’s anyone’s guess who will take the top spot of the podium. |
Spokane Boogers Dig In! |
In Spokane, spring has sprung and Boogers were out on the hill prepping the dirt for a fruitful season ahead! Junior riders joined forces with a local women's MTB team the Biking Betties, to put in work for this trail being 100% built by women. We're proud to have our riders putting in the work and building relationships throughout the community! Biking Betties mission: to build a sisterhood of stoke and encouragement, empowering women to feel comfortable and confident in this sport. Guided by our mantra, "If she can do it, I can do it," we offer weekly group rides for various riding levels and styles, as well as host events such as bike maintenance nights and trail building days. |

Portland Chapter: Food Bank and Air Bags |
The Oregon Food Bank welcomed back a huge group of Boogers to process pallets of produce! Nearly 30 teammates and family members showed and got to work making a big impact. Nice work everybody! Learn more about the Oregon Food Bank and ways that you can join us in supporting their mission! |

We're grateful for the opportunity to have worked with MTB Coach Robbie throughout April to hone our jump skills. Airbag sessions on weekdays gave Boogers the chance to grow their skillsets and progress together!

On the race course, it has been super busy in Oregon! Boogers have braved all types of conditions across many disciplines this spring. The Echo Red to Red brought racers from all of our chapters together on XC MTB, followed by a Team Relay win and many podiums at the Madras Bonecrusher. Other notable MTB races we competed in were Mudslinger and Bear Springs Trap, not to mention multiple gravel and road races already this spring. The Booger green and red have been showing up and racing hard!

We're super proud to be flying the Booger flag while filling up the junior categories and posting great results. Thank you to everyone who has stepped up and pitched in to make the spring season a huge success!
Stay tuned for an even bigger summer to come!
