2025 Missoula XC Booger Recap

Thank you Frances A for this race report!

In case you missed it, here’s a recap of the busy weekend of XC racing in Missoula, Montana!

We had a large number of Boogers pull up to race, and all performed strong, from the 13-14 boys all the way to the UCI racers. In 13-14 boys, Isaac Sproule crushed all other competition, dominating his field and pulling off two straight wins in XCO and XCC. Our 15-16 boys were all across the board: Bennett G finished 15th both days, Jack A pulling in 21 in XCO and in XCC 41st, Jaxon W finishing XCO 23rd and XCC 17th, Alden H in XCO 39th and XCC 32, Boris G-R in 44 for XCO and XCC 53rd, Dylan F in 53rd for XCO and 36th for XCC, Luke finishing XCO 63rd and XCC 62nd, Ronan K in 67th in XCO and XCC 29th, and Lincoln S in 73rd for XCO and 59th for XCC, capping off our 15-16 boys. There were 66 boys racing in short track and 91 in XCO.

Let’s not forget our two amazing 15-16 women who had incredible races! Another stacked field with 41 riders in XCO, Ellen S rode to a strong finish in 13th and Elyse E powered into 35th. In short track, the weather took a turn but it didn’t stop these two! Ellen finished 12th and Elyse in 28th, out of 34 riders.

The 17-18 UCI Junior Men category brought in 110 racers total! In XCO, Dillon H raced to 41st place. Despite a mechanical, Aran finished in 48th. Josh placed 81st. And Jack Campbell rode to 103rd! In the non-UCI short track, Aran powered through to 7th place, Dillon finished 25th, and Jack rode to 61st. There were 76 riders in this category!

In the 17-18 UCI Junior Women XCO, Gabriella rode to a strong finish in 33rd despite a mechanical and Frances finished in 28th. 36 riders rounded out this competitive field! In the non uci short track, they placed 7th and 6th respectively, out of 14.   Most certainly not least, we had Aaron Sproule who finished 11th in U23 XCO out of a field of 31 men. In short track, he raced in pro men and finished 23rd out of 50!
